Without further adieu, the M37 sudden death syndrome which plagued me of
late is solved. I purrs like a kitten at all rpm's, and compression of all
cylinders is around 100psi.
Following the many leads which this great list sent me, I began to look back
over every detail I already did. I found:
An intermittent power wire short from the ignition switch to the distributer
dropped voltage from 24 to about 8 volts, enough to show sparks at the
points when I was tracing power failures, but not enough to fire the
cylinders!!
All other work I did and parts installed were very good for the truck
anyway.
