Now here is where I fit in..(and an idea for our MVPA group). Our Ferret
Mark 2/3 is one of the displays. Even though this is an American military
event, they thought the British Ferret was pretty cool and really wanted to
show it. So who am I to argue! Heck, helping vets and show off our MVPA
stuff at the same time, can't get much better than that.
I'll bet if you contacted your local Veteran's Hall (or V A office) they
would be interested in putting your mil-veh on display at some future event.
Sure makes for good press and that can't hurt, especially now. Speaking of
that... I have my lines rehearsed if the reporters ask why I am driving
British Armor instead of American? I'll say, "Cause the US cuts up our
historical armor into little pieces and what is found overseas for sale can't
be brought back....all thanks to current laws!" I'll try to make a good
pitch!
Keep em rollin...
