The MVPA was also on TV today... hope the Army Reserve guys didn't mind as
their vehicles didn't make it. I'm not bragging, although I am pleased as
punch the MVPA got a great reception from the media. The main reason I
mention this is because we need good press and I hope you will not be bashful
about showing off your big green things! This is a critical juncture for
mil-veh preservation and we need to be pro-active whenever and wherever we
can,.... to sell our value and establish our necessity for being!
Today the MVPA in N. Calif. was put in the best light possible and we had fun
doing it. Mil-veh collection has a place and people need to know it. I
sincerely believe a number of folks truly enjoyed what they saw and learned a
lot about rolling history, many that knew nothing of the MVPA prior and
that's just great!
Our message was simple... We are the keepers of mil-veh history. It's
honest, it's patriotic and it's educational. Keep em rollin!
