Well, you can't miss the Cruiser Aurora. It is docked on the Neva River
and is a museum. It fired a shot, although a blank, in the October
Revolution. I saw an WWI vintage armored car at a Lenin Museum. It was
outside and viewable from the sidewalk. There are a bunch of military
museums that are well worth the time also. You might also check out the
outskirts of the city where the Germans had surrounded the city in WWII.
I saw a bunch of artillery and a few tanks from my bus. Sorry I don't
have any street addresses but the museums will be easy to find.
