The 3nnnnnnn indicates the size of the truck along with the US givmint
registration number
The "S" on the end indicates that it had radio supression added to prevent
the enemy from picking up the (electrical) noise of the engine
I do not ever remember seeing a "W" truck with an "S" though. It is
possible, but earlier trucks were W with non S and later no W with S.
