Presumably I should - for a can borrowed from the German army in Normandy -
consider the Drab Yellow colour you mention for post 1943 vehicles ?

The Wehrmacht never used Olive Drab! They used Panzergrau on early
vehicles (up to spring 1943) and dark yellow on later ones. The colour
of the can has to match the colour of the vehicle.
