On Monday, 6-14-99, William Benson posted a note about a M274A5 Mule for
sale at South Dakota State University in Brookings SD. I contacted the
University for information and was told that they had talked to several
interested people and that they received the impression that the Mule was
worth well over $2000. I will be in that part of SD in the next couple of
weeks and I have thought about taking a look at the Mule, but I'm not sure
what I should be looking for, other than obvious mechanical condition. Is
there anything special I should pay attention to? Also, what would be a
reasonable price for this unit?
