Hi Tom,

Where are you located at?

We've had good luck with Unimog 404-S radio trucks and cargo
trucks as to their condition and usability on arrival here in
the US. Well... maybe having a mechanic-buyer in Europe with
a shop helps to keep luck on our side ;) We drop ship Unimog
404's to US port cities for US $7,500 landed, including ocean
shipping and tariff paid, ready to drive away.

Upkeep, as with most vehicles, is a function of maintenance.
After giving your Unimog the 'once over', checking out all
major systems and getting to know your truck, you will be able
to diagnose it's behavior readily. They are very simple and
basic machines built to a high standard of German engineering
and workmanship.

As to availability, we have some ready to ship now. It always
seems like a roll of the dice on being able to find more, and
what kind of shape they will be in. In any event, in a year or
so you should be able to find a good second hand Unimog already
here if our overseas supply dries up.

Kind regards,

-Michael Carradine
