Well, I agree with Gordon. The side lamps are an indication that the Pick-Up
was
rebodied with probably a '46 cab. The windscreen centre wind, civilian dash,
side
windows without window frame and probably different ignition switch, light
knobs
etc. If the Dodge has a winch or has a winch chassis you can be sure that is
has a
non original cab, they never made closed cab winch models. You could also take
a good look at the paint, the cab could have a different paint originally than
the rest
of the vehicle. I've seen one 1/2 ton pick-up with winch and '46 closed cab on
it
for sale last year and we also have one ourselves (without winch) , it may not
be that original but it is a very nice vehicle, drives great and very
practical.
