[MV] What's an M36C?

Over the weekend I saw an M36C for sale, 2-1/2 ton 6x6 with winch. The
frame has been cut and extended and a log grappel bolted on. The rear
springs have been replaced by solid steel bars. The winch is missing and
looks as if it was ripped out of the frame by force. Exterior is still OD
green but the inside is blaze orange. Not a pretty truck and I don't think
worth putting any money or effort into. But, just out of curiosity, where
does an M36 fit with the M35?
