Need help with problem I am having with a WW2 jeep transmission. It was
recently gone though and nothing was mess up or out of place. It still has
one problem that keeps showing up. When you shift the transmission some
times it will do just fine, but some times it will lock up and the shifter
will not move. The only way to free it up is to remove the top cover and
put it back in. What could be causing this? I have replaced the little
plate that helps shift the gears thinking it was bent. Any help is greatly
appreciated.
