"Second, if you chose not to join the MVPA that is your right and freedom.
I
am a member and support your decision not to join, BUT if you chose not to
join I really don't think this election is any of your business....YOU are
as
much of the problem as anyone on the board of directors could be, if not
more
so, for you are in a position to complain, and do nothing pro-active. If
you
wish to join another group, great, got no problem with that, don't want to
join MVPA, too bad, but don't complain how it is run, and by the way, you
probably shouldn't attend any MVPA events either, since you are not helping
the organization in any way. Obviously, you are not helping financially,
nor
are you available for office, nor providing for its future, nor even
lending
weight when change is sought on import bans or demil requirements, or
licensing issues.
This is much like chicken and pigs relationship to breakfast. The chicken
is
"interested" with the eggs, but the pig is committed to the ham."
To which I respond:
For those interested only in finding MV resources, this whole string is
probably off topic and of nobodies' business. HOWEVER, I want to bring to
bear all guns to loosen the restriction on MV recovery and ownership. To
do this, the MVPA is my best choice. Unfortunately, there are some
problems within the ranks, or rather on top of them.
It's kind of like courting one of the Hatfield sisters. I don't have
anything against the McCoys, but I have to get involved 'lest Old Man
Hatfield think that I lack fortitude, and hence am not good enough for his
daughter.
Well sir, not only am I good enough for his daughter, I'm on a four engine
run to get most of his lady kinfolk, plus level that McCoy infested
mountaintop.
I am very interested in the future of the MVPA, but before I hit the beach
and join in the fight, I want to be sure there are enough of us willing to
make the change, and not just a vocal few.
Fear not, my money's on the way!
