[MV] Info on restoring MB gas tank needed

A friend of mine is planning to refurb his gas tank using the epoxy liquid
stuff you pour into the tank. He needs to know how to prevent the sealant
from entering the fuel pick up line in the bottom of the sump of the tank.
Any suggestions?
