I have a '42 GPW with no hand brake.
I mean nothing!
There is nothing at all on the tran. case.
I think this jeep had the system with the brake band on the outside of the
drum.
As far as I can tell the hand brake system from later jeeps will not fit.
Am I correct?
As I imported this jeep into Canada, I must get it safety inspected before I
can register it.
I am desperate.
How can I make a hand brake.
I don't even care if it looks original anymore.
I just want to get it on the road.
Any ideas?
Anyone have an early hand brake system for sale?
