I know, Andreas, I was for 15 years in the only MV club in France which
accepted German vehicles.
So of course, we did not have uniforms, weapons usw, but only off-road
driving.
(suited me better, I never saw the point of spending the day driving on
tarmac roads, dresed as a US Army officer around the D-Day landing beaches.
I was quite interesting because whe had almost all the K=FCbel and Schwimm
owners in France in the club ( including some who were visibly nostalgics
of the time of the German occupation of France... ) but this was
interesting as these vehicles had to be _restored_, and not just by buying
over-the-counter spares as the Jeep and Dodge crowd did ;-)
And more interesting yet whe we thus got a chance to see rarer things, like
F3 or Sdkfz 251 half-tracks, or a Mercedes G4 6x4.
