The auction did not seem fixed to me. I have been to hundreds of these type
auctions and they all operate the same way. 15 seconds to sale a car is
quite reasonable. You have to remember that they are trying to sale 400 or
more cars in one afternoon. As far as price fixing goes, All auctions have
a reserve price that is set by the seller or owner of the merchandise being
sold. Maybe you disagree with the reserve but a reserve is a reserve. You
do not have to pay it.
I only saw the first 100 units sale. Most seem to go for about $18500 some
for $18000. The fourth unit that ran sold for $23000 even.
I did not see any fights or the like. Many people including me wanted them
to go for less but that did not happen.......maybe next time.
As posted before I will e-mail pictures to anyone that wants them. It may
take awhile but I will get them to all that request.
That's my .02
