Indeed. Never use old NOS gaskets, when they are 20 and more years old.
They are shrunk and they are stiff, so they will never make your
engine oil tight.
Go to a good automotive parts dealer and buy a sheet of new gasket
paper (or other gasket material). I wouldn't use the paper of corn
flakes boxes, it is not strong enough.
