Here in the USA there are 2 different Re-enactor "groups" of nationwide
status. One of them is 20th Century Tactical Studies Group out of
Illinois. They list 4 "units" (including 1 UK) doing Korean War
re-enacting. Unfortunately none in UK. COntact me off list and I'll zap
you some addresses. I too think using my MV's in re-enacting is a great
way to show and use them more.
As to canceling off the list, I too have considered it recently. Seems
there are 2 extreme sides that if you stray too far from the guidelines,
you will incur their wrath. Sure a weapon looks nice on a vehicle (if
proper) but then you get the 2nd amendmant types goin. Then theirs the
ones that if it doesn't have anything exactly to do with an MV, its not
relevant.
My advise, give it a few days. The trade off between getting "flamed"
(wonder how much I will get now), and getting information and contacts is
still for the good side. Steve
