List,
I had an interesting question posed to me concerning how much
weight could be safely pulled using the pintle hook on a M35 Series
truck, specifically an M35A2. The data plate says the load cap is
10,000 lbs., but that sure sounds low. I pull a 12-ton rated trailer
(elec. brakes) with my M35A2, but the heaviest load was only 6K lb.
Have any of you used your trucks to pull some really heavy loads
on trailers?
