If you are looking for an inverter that will convert 24 volt military power
to 120 volt AC try www.triplite.com. I have no connection to them, but I
recalled seeing them mentioned in the JC Witney catalog and found their web
site without any problem. They specifically mention converting 24 volts DC
to 120 volts AC. There are several places that sell the two pin connector
that plugs into the slave receptacle on an M series truck, so making an
adapter to match up to the inverter shouldn't be a problem.

have the same type connector?
yes, from memory it is low on truck just ahead of (drivers?) door. On
vehicles not o equiped there is small plate bolted on covering spot. Adding
it is pretty easy.
Also, is there a military convertor to
convert the 28 volts to 120 VAC? >>
not to my knowledge.
