I know little about the Simca SUMBs other than they are a fine vehicle that
has served French forces all around the world very well for many years.
However, whenever you consider purchasing a rare (at least here in the
States) consider parts. Both availability and cost. French vehicles are
notoriously expensive for parts. I'd look heavily into this.
The miles is another point. In most Europeon shops, if a speedo is replaced,
the miles (Km) begin again at 0. And this is quite common.
I'd also highly recommend checking out a Pinzgauer. This is one very
impressive vehicle, in capability, reliability, features, and quality.
