Does anyone know what the low range ratio is for a M38 transfer case. My MB has a M38 engine, trans. and T-case that someone swapped in. The gear under the PTO cover has 26 teeth instead of the 27 teeth a MB would have. I understand that MB's should have a 1.97 to 1 ratio and that late CJ-3B's, CJ-5's and CJ-6's with the model 18 T-case have a 2.46 to 1 ratio. I believe that a M38 would have the same ratio as a CJ-2A. Thanks in advance.
