Normally I work on my Kettenkrad, but now I have on my job a problem
with a JEEP CJ3B.
It is built under license as JEEP-VIASA in Spain around 1955.
My job is to make a new German title for this vehicle. And I have a
problem with the gearshift:
When I shift from the 2nd (bottom left) to the 3rd (top right), I
most times hit the Reverse gear and the gearbox makes a scratching
sound.
Now my question: is there any device in the gearbox, which prevents
that you get in the reverse gear, if you don't want it. All vehicles
have such a device. How does it look like in a CJ3B????
Many thanks for your efforts, best regards from Germany
Andreas
