RE: [MV] Need M43 Opinions

Hi Again List,
Thanks to those that responded and still like to hear from anybody
else out there. I forgot to mention it is not a winch model. The consensus
of opinion seems to be that it's a good deal depending on how accurate the
description turns out to be. There is definitely an inspection road trip in
the near future to see just what's what. It'll take a bit of planning as
it's 7+ hours from here so it'll have to involve an overnight.
A story the owner decided to share as he was reminiscing about the
truck. Snowmobile riders came along and went off into the woods/fields and
one of them promptly hit a tree and broke his neck. His buddies came back to
the camp and called and the locals said "no way to get to him - use the
snowmobiles that are OK". Figuring that wouldn't be a good idea the owner
fires up the M43 and drove out in the middle of nowhere along the trail and
got him. Poor guy didn't make it; but the ambulance went out where the local
rescue squad wouldn't take the truck that replaced the M43.
I'll keep the list posted on what happens.
