"1942 Army Jeep, Ford ~General Purpose Willys~
I have a 1942 Army Jeep, Ford GPW (General
Purpose Willys), that I restored from the chassis
up. A large number of parts have the original
Ford Script F on them. It has a rebuilt 4 cylinder,
60 H.P. engine with 1600 miles. There are many
genuine accessories included such as five
combat wheels, military tires, all combat lights
and convoy lights, a shovel, ax, jack, assorted
hand tools, fire extinguisher, canvas water bag,
rifle rack, and summer canvas top. This is a
museum-quality showpiece. I have entered this
in three shows as an exhibit and have won the
following awards: "Committee Pick" at the
Veterans Car Show for 1997, a "Special
Interest" trophy at an automobile show, and first
place at a military swap meet. I have spent
many hours restoring this Jeep to make it as
authentic as possible. It always gets attention
when I drive it down the street. These Jeeps are
rare and many times sell for over $20,000. My
asking price is $12,500. Feel free to call me if
you have any questions at 909-684-1385
(Riverside, CA) Bud Bell. Shipping or
transportation will be the buyer=92s responsibility."
