[MV] QUESTION TO M37 OWNERS

Hi Guys!
Recently I came upon a 1952 Marine M37 w/winch and whole, with the nifty
lifting eyes on the stern and hoops welded to the front. The guy's gonna let
me make payments and ship it for free. On the down side, it's faded orange
and I doubt it runs.
Now the question: How rare are genuine USMC M37s? I already have 3 of the
army ones, but I've never actually seen a USMC one except in a magazine once.
And what are the identifying marks other than the modified lifting eyes?
