Humm........seems like a lot of extra stuff and work here. I have used the
Gillespie (RAPCO) paint for years. I simply mix it 3 parts paint to 1 part
thinner. I have had this paint on MVs that sat outside for more than three
years without any fading. Covers great. I have never needed hardener.
Also, why add flattener? 34087 is a semi-gloss paint. If you want a flat
finish use 24087. For a full gloss use 14087.
Paint code is;
First digit indicates finish in military paint (post war)
1 = full gloss
2 = semi-gloss
3 = flat finish (lusterless)
