[MV] Slave receptacle hook-up question.

I have acquired a slave receptacle to mount in the well on the passenger
side of my M38A1. It has a long lead, and a short lead.

Where do these two leads physically afix to the truck. I don't think the
short lead will get all the way to the batteries. Does it go to the frame?

Does the long lead go to the positive terminal on the first battery?
