Ironic isn't it? CJ = "Civilian Jeep" The Canadian Armed Forces bought
military production DJ (?)(for the Royal Canadian Navy), CJ-7 (in flat OD
paint in early 1980s as an interim vehicle until the Iltis was made in
1985-6), and YJ in flat OD paint (mainly used as runabouts for officers at
training schools from what I could see at CFB Chilliwack in British
Columbia, Canada.
