[MV] German stuff/bad?

It seems there is an inherent prejudice about Germans and German things.
I'm a little surprised and disappointed in this. As Military history buffs
we may have attitudes, good or bad, towards a certain side in a war, but
the history stands alone. There were two sides, weather you call them good
and bad or right and wrong, or winner and loser. Just because someone was
on one side doesn't make them a "bad" person, and they could very well have
served with honor, bravery, and dignity. We don't know all there is to know
about the mind set of the people of Germany in those days, and certainly
some were mis-informed (from our standpoint). But they did their job the
best they could, and some died doing so.
To blanketly say all those that served in the German Army in W.W.II were
bad or dishonorable is wrong, I think.
To exclude them and they're equipment from displays seems like a slap to
the first amendment, for sure.
I may not agree with what Hitler's ideas were, but I'll defend someone's
right to dress and display the uniform in a historic setting.
Like them or not, the Germans had wonderful equipment and uniforms.
I doubt the same attitude exits towards the Japanese, or other German
allies, for that matter.
I await the firestorm of response,
respectfully submitted,
Henry
