Hi Mark,

Any "real" industrial automotive electric shop can deal with 24vdc starters
and alternators. Alot (if not all??) city busses are 24vdc systems. I
took my alternator (Leese-Neville) to the local auto electric shop to have
it checked out and they said "No Problem, we have a contract with the city
to fix all of them for the busses." Another good alternative is CME ARMA
in Miami Fla. I had them do an alternator for me and got good, fast,
service. There are lots of options available.

Good luck with your project,
