List,
Thanks to all that responded both on and off List to my questions. I have
been informed that the T-223 motor in my M37 is for a WWII Dodge WC
truck. I didn't mention it, but it has been converted to 24 volt M Series
ignition. The data plates on the motor indicating a rebuild are either French
or Norwegian. I'm pretty sure that the M37 transmission is being utiilzed
as it has a synchronized 3rd-4th gears.
