I have fount this to be the case many times with bigger trucks. It is
usually the upper trunnion bearing. It gets wet and rusts a little.
Remember, these bearings are riding on the same few rollers on the same side
all the time. Another thing that will help is a new knuckle seal. The wiping
action will act as a steering damper until it wears in.
