I don't think that it is WWII vintage but a scrapyard northwest of Ottawa,
Canada has a mountain of aluminium bridge "raft"sections for sale along
with some very impressive marine style anchors to hold them against a river
current. Some "raft" section have fold down ramp sections as end pieces but
most just bolt together end to end. Cost and bridge type unknown but if
anyone is interested I will be travelling to that area next Wednesday and
can check for additional details. Please let me know off list. Robert
