My previous posting contained much info obtained by me directly from
the Commercial Driver Manual. Go to your local motor vehicles office,
get a manual and show them that you are exempt if you are a farmer
carrying your own goods within a 150 mile radius. Also, please note
the use of the word COMMERCIAL in the manual, the Federal Law.
Ask them how they plan to force you to obtain a CDL, when in fact
your use will be strictly personal and not for hire.
Maybe the state you live in has a law that requires non commercial
drivers to have a CDL. If that's what they say, ask to see the law in print.
