Again, I ask: Did the vehicle have ANTIQUE TAGS on it????

When I went to register my '42 Chevy CMP, the State DMV material on
ANTIQUE vehicles indicated that ALL ORIGINAL equipment was ok.
Itsy-bitsy brake lights, no seat belts, One headlamp covered with a
blackout shroud, NON-DOT window glass etc.etc.

Lets' not beat a dead horse here.

All these horror stories of what you can get stopped for are all
worthwhile lessons learned, but let's make a first cut by determining
whether or not the vehicle was exempted from all this CDL stuff by
being an antique and tagged as such, or were you using modern tags?

Is your friends' M211 an antique? If so, was it tagged as one?

Jim
