Hi all,
I was at a surplus yard last Saturday & sitting amongst about 10 M-37's was
an M-37 with a strange bulge in the upright panel between the hood & L.F.
fender. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the drivers door was stenciled"
Chrysler Turbine Project" . The instrument cluster had additional guages &
the truck as a whole was very solid. No, there was not a Turbine under the
hood, engine & trans was missing. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.
Also, There were three "trailer" looking things sitting there. They
consisted of a long tongue, four HUGE tires & 1 blackout tail light. The
tires were each designed to carry 500 gallons of fuel inside of them! Anyone
know anything about either of these items?
