Hello listers,
Just been poking around in dad's attic and guess what I found. It
is a Periscope marked "Periscope M13" with the number 7643904 under it.
Pop said he bought it after the war to use the massive amount of
plexiglass in it for some long forgotten project. It came off of a tank,
(which type, I don't know). He said he recognized it for what it was
because he used to work for Fisher body in the tank division (where he
met mom), during the war. It is about 14" tall and maybe 9"wide and a
good 2-3" thick. It has a knurled knob to tighten it in place and to
loosen shot out one for replacementThe silver on the mirrors is a bit bad
and there is a crack in one of the lenses but it is a neat item. Any
information on this item will be appreciated. Thanks.
