check oil
check coolant
operate engine shut off control make sure it moves freely AT THE INJECTION
PUMP
remove mushroom over aircleaner, have helper stand in that area with wood or
steel plate large enough to cover air intake, prepared to cover intake with
said item should engine "run away" or fail to shut down. Don't use
rag....LDS injest rag no prob.
Make sure throttle return spring functions....
Pull engine shut off control out....turn over engine...this is to check for
hyrostatic lock (cylinders full of oil/fuel).
open fuel beeder screw on top of dual filters and make sure you get flow of
good clean fuel (no air) with accessory switch on.
push in engine off control, turn back on accessory switch, and push start.
should run, BUT if truck been sitting long fuel could/will be "stale"and
truck run like crap. Solution: drain tank, change filters, and refill,
although DRMO would frown on this at there site probably.
