First, I wish to thank all of you that responded to my posting. Quite a few
responses to me were made off List.
In my posting, I was trying to confirm that a faulty injector could cause
the engine oil level to rise. I had posted the problem of the multifuel engine
"making oil" several months ago and the responses to that posting seemed
to favor a leaking seal in the injector pump. The owner of the truck was
about to replace the seals or pump when a diesel mechanic checked it out
and told him that he had a bad injector. An injector was replaced and the
engine run for a while and had no increase in the oil level. If the problem is
indeed fixed, then we multifuel owners should keep this in mind in the
event another engine develops this problem.
Again, thanks to all that respomded.

ps: I'm now faced with a multifuel powered M35A2 that doesn't want to
exceed 45 mph. I installed new fuel filters, no change. Unlike David Doyle's
problem, no noise and it doesn't starve out, just lack of power. (LDT4651D)
