I think you may mean the VW ILTIS 181 or Trekker ? It is a Kuble
"looks-a-bit like" and at least one is currently advertised on
www.milweb.net There were I recall about 6 at the 99 War and Peace Show and
a friend who lives in Gambia says they are currently a very trendy "fashion
vehicle"..apparently they are good off highway.
MV Magazine featured them in detail in a recent issue...again details on
www.milweb.net and I am sure there is a website dedicated to them, but can't
think of the URL.
