Hello, All -
I have a nice dune buggy that I am exploring the idea of trading for an m35
cargo truck.
The buggy has:
*2 seater frame
*Orange paint
*2014cc bored and stroked motor assembled by FOMOCO - runs real good, real
smooth, always starts fast
*Dual Weber carbs
*CNC pedals, disk rear brakes (they need some work, but they are all there)
*electric fuel pump.
*Mostly braided-stainless fuel and oil lines
*Completely street legal and with valid title.
*Full-time remote oil filter and aircraft-type oil cooler
*049 distributor with electronic ignition update
*1/4" aluminum treadplate floor
*Lots of lights
*New battery last year
*Many other extras
*email me for pictures
Gee, the more I talk about it, the more I wonder if I'm making the right
choice, but like I said, I'm exploring the idea.
I'm not sure what the relative value is to somebody. I built this buggy
about 6 years ago and drove it a lot the first few years, but not so much
any more. It probably has altogether $6500 into it, and has maybe 2000
miles. Except for the tranny, rear trailing arms and tires, it was all-new
when built.
I want a truck that is as nice as the dune buggy, not show quality, but
rock-solid reliable, no missing parts and no rust. I don't need a cargo
cover, but I do require that the truck have fold-down sides.
Any takers? Let's talk!
