One word of caution. The hitch designed for the full-size civilian blazer
will work on the CUCV. However, in order to fit the hitch on the frame, a
square channel reinforcement bar will be removed. This is no problem unless
you are going to tow very heavy loads with the pintle hitch. The blazer is
not designed to pull more than 5000 lbs, so it should be no problem. If you
have more questions, email me.
