Have Mity Mite that I am going to have to sell, Vehicle is complete except
for:
driver seat back
seat cushion set.
Vehicle has been returned to 24 volt. New headlights, NOS front blackout
lights and NOS tailights ( last 2 are M151). Put in NOS master cylinder. Has
both rear seat backs - 1 is brand new. NOS complete main and front wiring
harnesses. Main harness is installed. Front harness is still in the box.
Voltage regulator is NOS from M 151. Have 2 gallons of correct Gillespie
paint. Have 2 brand new correct batteries from Daryl Bensinger. Also have the
hard to find oil temp sending unit with guard ( both NOS). Comes with NOS top
bows, spare tire mounting bracket and tailgate stiffening rod.
Comes with 2 carbs. The one on the engine was professionally rebuilt by
fellow in FL who specializes in the Mite carb. Included is spare engine with
all the shrouding and a NOS complete transmission/transfer case with the
protective paper wrap on the shafts.
Entire unit has been stored indoors since my purchase and by the previous
owner.
Selling because I bought it at a low point in the body off restoration of a
45 GPW and wanted something to drive right away. ( Don't even hope to explain
the logic, but I know there are people out there who understand) Once I got
it though I started to " spruce it up" and found that it is only taking time
away from the GPW. Also have a daughter who wants a pony and the Mit is in
the way of the stall.
Am asking $5500 which doesn't get my investment back,but dont know many
people who ever get their money back in this hobby. Would also be interested
in trades.
Vehicle is in Maryland. About 20 miles west of Baltimore just off I 70.
