Thanks for very the comprehensive reply! Everything was replaced - the
Royal Thai Army kindly supplied me with a full clutch kit, but the flywheel
was not resurfaced, just rubbed down with coarse cloth.
The need was to replace the throw-out bearing but there was no way I was
going to do just the bearing whilst she was stripped that far down and the
whole new clutch was only 40 bucks and already sitting on the shelf. I
removed a very good condition fibre clutch. Will the metallic clutch
settle in?
