I seem to remember the same thing was said when the Army was about to
purchase the M-880 series of vehicles. It turned out that these vehicles
worked out neither cost-effective nor reliable (ask an old-timer army
mechanic, or look through back-issues of "PS" magazine). Isn't there a saying
