How many wheels?
If it is a 6x6, it's possibly an M-20, the open-topped version of the Ford
M-8 Greyhound armored car. Should have an inline 6 cylinder engine in the
back.
Does it look like a halftrack with wheels instead of tracks in the back?
Might be a White M-3 Scout Car. They have an inline 6 cylinder in the front
and shutters in front of the radiator.
Those would be two likely types fitting your description. I don't think that
the common British armored cars have open tops or trolleys like you
describe.

Ok, it doesn't have an easy to find data plate. Looks like the
armoured cars of the WWII era. No motor. Big distinguishing feature
is.........no turret. Instead has a 3 legged support with a ring mount
for looks like a .50 cal & trolley on it. So, any guesses ? & what
kinda motor should it have ? 6 or 8 ? Last military use was by the
....believe it or not. U.S. Air Force. Steve
