Well, it looks like Mel was right. I looked at what I thought to
be a socket (or female for us older technical types) connector on
the generator with a flashlight and found a pin (or male) connector
recessed in about one inch from the opening of the hole. Needless
to say I messed up when I described the connecting cable as having
two pins at each end. They're actually extended sockets. Thanks for
the help, Mel.
