I have been using two 70 amp batteries in my 1984 MUTT. My mechanic says
that they should be of only 40 amps each. Is he right? The lights are very
bright and starter whines when I start. I lost two starter switches (foot
operated) recently. Both got burnt out. Once the starter armature got
burnt. Were all these due to the wrong batteries? Please advise urgently!
