I've put over 15,000 miles on my M35A2C with an LDS without any trouble. The
engine and radiator were new when I installed them. The temperature has
stayed on 180 deg. F, even when flat towing another deuce hundreds of miles.
I have noticed recently however that the temperature does climb slightly if I
work the truck too hard. I think David has a valid point but I think it is
surmountable if the radiator is near its maximum cooling capacity and you
watch your temperature gage.
